| The essential idea of the Mona Lisa is not the visible subject. Everyone, according to their own sensitivity, are or are not capable of feeling the invisible essential idea emanating from the Mona Lisa.
The essential idea, or even the invisible 4th dimension, emanates from the pictorial form like a reflection. It is however, neither form nor matter. One cannot study it, but one can comment on what one perceives.
For example, everyone knows somebody in their neighbourhood from whom there emanates a piggish 4th dimension, and animals that express a human-like 4th dimension. In the same way, a harmonious dimension of serenity, wisdom or sensuality can radiate from an injured body. A dimension of stupidity, dullness and even animality can also emanate from a beautiful body that is well cared of.
An example certainly understood by everyone to conclude. A dimension of untruthfulness, deceitfulness and hypocrisy or a thirst for power can cause a loss of trust in the men and women from whom it emanates. The people in question are unable to understand this! However, the core of good sense, that is true intelligence, knows by intuition how to distinguish the echo of truth. This core of common sense, knows well also how to express what it has recognized.
