The hand of art models the human body.
Fascinated by the power of the fluctuating emotions concealed within the human body, he continued to learn more for +40 years through his practice of kinesiotherapy. He so discovered how the physical body that one can see, sets itself in harmony with the anatomy of the underlying organs, muscles, bones and tendons that cannot be seen, but which he could feel through his hands.
He then realized that this harmony follows specific laws and phenomena. He therefore decided never to deform nor to caricaturize what is the soul's clothing: the human body.
This perpetually changing physical harmonization ( at each one of breathing movment, one could say ) is what allows true emotion to emanate from the inert matter which bronze is. The living light blends with the bronze that gives birth to shade, so blowing life, since harmonization always conveys what is real, unlike interpretation.
Jean Paul Floch has observed and learned through touching many living human beings. His hands may so imprint into matter what they received from listening through the sense of touch.
He could so invent his own method, without being influenced by neither art schools nor artist's training courses.
All details about his making his way as a sculptor are in his biography
